Managed Pastures

Pastures

Larger properties with fences and water can improve utilization by hosting managed livestock owned by others.

Field owners

Services are available on your fields or ours, allowing for the option of harvesting forage from your fields to be fed to your cattle in another location.  Hay/Forage and cattle management work tickets can be used to support AG exemption* claims on your owned property.

Cattle investor

Services are available that allow you to invest in cattle, pay for their management and receive net proceeds from sales.  This is a full management service for investment in cattle; from acquisition, through breeding, feeding out, health management, and sales. Involvement by the investor is not required, but material participation should be determined by your tax advisor for Profit/Loss from Farming (Sche-F) benefits.

* Income tax and property tax benefits should be reviewed with your tax advisors
